PROJECT OVERVIEW

Wollongong Day Surgery is Illawarra’s premier day surgery facility. The extension to the facility which now features four operating theatres with pre-op bays, recovery beds and lounge enables Healthe Care to deliver high quality services, with state-of-the-art technology, providing patients a pleasant and comfortable environment. The day surgery now offers a range of services including Dental, Ear Nose & Throat, Endoscopy / Colonoscopy, Eye, Gynaecology and Fertility, Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery, including two levels of consulting suites, providing a complete facility for patients.

Red Eye were engaged to complete the design and construction of the Day Surgery which included:

SCOPE OF WORKS

Six (6) level including basement carparks – 4500m2 new construction & fitout:

  • New Operating Theatres x 2

  • Recovery Bays x 14

  • Two Stage Recovery Lounge

  • Central Sterile Services Department

  • Consulting Suite Space - Two levels

  • Off Street Carpark - Two levels

  • Refurbishment and modifications to the existing theatres, pre-operating area and reception
